Milton-Freewater is nestled along the base of the Blue Mountains in northeast Oregon 10 miles south of Walla Walla, Washington and 30 miles north of Pendleton, Oregon. Our community’s school facilities are located within the town proper and in the surrounding area.
The Walla Walla River Valley provides Milton-Freewater’s approximate 10,000 residents with numerous cultural and recreational opportunities, including hunting, fishing, boating, and skiing, as well as the theater and symphony. Agriculture is the foundation of our local economy with a thriving fruit crop industry.
Our staff, parents and community are friendly, caring and dedicated to providing a positive learning environment for all children. They are committed to moving our students into the 21st century with the necessary skills to succeed, while offering extensive support and extracurricular activities for all of our students.
